You'll get hooked on this one.

That was a really dumb pun. Because today I have an oldie from the early 1970's.

Yep, I dug up one from the depths of the drive in era. THREE ON A MEATHOOK.

This is actually the link to the TRAILER of the film first. Because it's so darn fine.

If that made you a happy person, then I'll give you the actual movie next.

And there it is. BwaHaHa.

Three on a Meathook is a fairly uncommon film nowadays but back in 1972 it got some time on the big screen. It's based on the Ed Gein murders like so many films of the day were and although it might appear as a Texas Chainsaw Massacre clone, keep in mind that this predates the film.

The film centers around four girls who are headed to the lake when they have car troubles. A friendly young man offers to help and takes them to his rural home. His father begins to pick them off and tries to convince his son that he was the one that killed them.

Pretty simple plot. I admit it. But this film is actually pretty entertaining and without giving a cool spoiler picture, I will say that it features a really amazing decapitation scene. This film is worth seeing as it seems to be dropping into the abyss of rarity and obscurity. Three on a Meathook deserves to be brought back out of the cellar and exposed to fresh sunlight again.
