OK, Intruder. So in the most basic sense, this film is about a psycho killing people during a night shift in a closed supermarket. Now for some details.
They introduce a possible killer pretty early in as we meet Craig, the ex boyfriend of one of the store's checkers. After an intense confrontation, Craig is thrown out of the store and the nerves of the employees is briefly rattled.
After the store closes, the owner makes an impromptu meeting and tells everyone that the store is being sold and that everyone will soon be out of a job. They are tasked with marking down inventory and after the expected complaints, everybody gets to work.
But this is when an unseen assailant begins picking them off. The nice thing about a supermarket is the creative ways one can be dispatched. Yes, the saw in the meat department is utilized, but so are other things like the cardboard baler, a memo spike, and the usual knives. And at this point we learn the identity of the killer, and you might be surprised who it is.
The original VHS release was heavily cut, with five minutes of KNB FX gore removed. This uncut version here has all the good stuff intact. It's a very bloody film. Enjoy!
